Mark Stephens is a Regional Sales Manager at SystemAir USA, Lenexa, KS., supporting engineered ventilation designs, for a better, healthier enclosed parking environment. Before joining SystemAir, he spent 7 years of professional experience inside the acoustical consulting industry specializing in HVAC noise control with chillers and RTU’s.
Combined he has more than 20 years of a working background within the ASHRAE industry which includes manufactured industrial products, energy recovery wheel technology, and multiple facets within air distribution systems.
Outside the industry he enjoys weekend outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and golf.
Jason Geagan from LFSystems will present “Stairwell Pressurization Controls.”

Jason Geagan is the Vice President of Commercial Sales for RM Manifold Group, a pressure controls manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX. His 29 years of experience in the HVAC industry, primarily focusing on hydronic & steam boilers, draft controls, and pressure-based exhaust solutions.
James Carlin from Pottorff will present “Ceiling Radiation Damper Overview”.
The presentation will cover:
- Test Standards and Requirements
- Types of rated roof/ceiling and Floor/ceiling assemblies
- Dampers Ratings and Application
James Carlin is the Product Manager for dampers and has been a Pottorff associate since 2007. Initially he was a Design Engineer from 2007 to 2015 until moving into a Product Management role. He is currently the Chair of the AMCA Air Control Code Action Review Committee, which is active in the code development process. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and worked in the aerospace industry before relocating to Texas.
